Let the transfer rumors begin!! This is the time where Barclays Fantasy Managers will have to hold fast and wait for the dust to settle. I mean with Liverpool moving quickly to grab Daniel Sturridge sure you can pick him up and hope the Suarez needs rest…or you can wait. See who goes where and more importantly see how will play and make a difference doing so
With The transfer window now in play and the African Cup of Nations it is pivotal to keep an eye out for every change. Yes big names get the highlights but look at player like Papiss Cisse and Sigurdsson both players who had relatively cheap buy points and smoked the second half of the season.
Part of being a good manager will be to scoop up that key player who helps a relegation endangered team out of the hole.
This weeks Tip: Use your free transfers to take advantage of what you think will be easy fixtures. (Come the end of month your can completely revamp your team)
Forwards
Van Persie– I would expect VP to play again with Hernandez as they had a great showing New years day
Tevez- Not completely fit for New Years but I would look for Mancini to start to rest Aguero as he is showing a ham string pull.
Lambert– He had his chances and he creates them so when a goal prone team comes up you can expect some results
Midfielders
Hazard – on rotation through the Christmas period I will use this game to see where he lies in the line up
Sterling- Well not after saying he was on the outs does he go out and get me a goal…still on the outs but that will be when the wildcard shuffle happens
Yaya Toure – I will be keeping him until his departure to the African Cup of Nations
McAnuff – One of those “I’m stuck with him” players until the wildcard break up
Sidwell – Again another player whose good but not stellar
Defenders
Ivanovic– Really I wouldn’t expect much from Stoke but Kenwyne Jones is making me worry a bit
Cuellar – On then bench
Shawcross– With Chelsea I doubt there will be a clean sheet
Shorey– Injured and not playing he’s the last man standing on my team…on the bench
Vertonghen– QPR away will be a good test, not easy but probably the best bet for a clean sheet this week out of all my defenders
Goal Keepers
Begovic – On the Bench due to Chelsea’s firepower
Jaaskelainen – Sunderland Aren’t easy but it will be on Fletcher I have to worry about this week
As always, Good luck and I’ll see you next game week

A last minute change!!!! I have used a free transfer to grab Puncheon on Southampton based on the info grabbed here…strongly consider captaining Chelsea Players now
“Earlier this morning, Southampton’s official twitter feed were first to give Fantasy managers the heads-up of a potential double Gameweek 22. The Saints’ previously postponed trip to Chelsea – cancelled due to the latter’s World Club Championship involvement last month – has now been pencilled in for Wednesday January 16.
Whether the league clash takes place all depends on the result of tomorrow’s FA Cup Third Round match between the two clubs. If the game ends all square, the above-mentioned date will be utilised for a cup replay and the league match rescheduled for another, as yet unspecified, time – if either side win, the double Gameweek will take place”
